Might be a stupid Q but here goes anyway.
When I look at the front of my engine (Farymann A40) it runs in and Anti-Clock direction.
Having just removed my Hydraulic pump (Gear box in other words) it shows that the pump must run in a clockwise direction.
To me the pump end of the engine looks like it is just the other end of the shaft compared to the flywheel on the front. Is there some sort of gearing that changes the direction of rotation of the two ends or has someone fitted the wrong pump for me.
I will be able to check on the w/e when I go to refit the whole shebang but it would be nice to know in advance.
Anybody got any ideas?
