Which size fuel barb thread for CAV filter

My old diesel tank has split and Im planning on replacing it with an outboard style 22l plastic tank for speed and ease so we can get back underway, currently there is solid pipe between the tank and CAV filter but I will be replacing that with rubber so does anyone know what type of thread a 20+ year old CAV filter housing is likely to have on the intake/outtake stubs?

If you are in the UK call ASAP and tell them what you want to do and they will sort the correct fittings for you.

In recent years size the thread size has been a choice of 1/2inch UNF or M14x1.5mm; something 20n years old is likely to be the former.
