Which Patrick O\'Brien Novel?

Following Woofy's idea for a bookclub I thought we could give it a try.

Which (if any) of the Aubrey-Maturin novels is your favourite?

With your technical skills will we all get library cards?

Do think a great idea, like a few on this forum I am of limited interests, and if someone can direct me to the shelves with good sailing stories, I will join!

Is the lounge then to be further subdivided?

All of them, in order. But Master and Commander (not the film) was extremely funny, as was the Yellow Ensign (?correct title) esp description of Jack commenting on Diana's driving style over the bridge where she subsequently died, and Blue at the Mizzen for the feeling of author's elegy. Do I qualify for Mastermind?
