OK sorted, thanks for all the replies. In the end I realised that I couldn't put the AIS on the far right as there was not enough clearance, so I went for my second choice on the bottom right.


I've finished making the panel ...
Assuming I go for the vertical centres aligned, which of these looks best. Forget functionality for the moment, I'm talking aesthetics:

Top right or centre right

BUT it could all look quite different when its its actual position in the boat and viewed against it surroundings
 
Please pardon my scorn, but why are you considering arranging these screens for aesthetic appeal, rather than functionality?

May I suggest a further alternative, which will be easily preferable in aesthetic terms (since you say functionality isn't an issue... :rolleyes:)

The chart plotter has loads of small detail and will need to be peered at.
The other two are intended for viewing from a distance.
The three don't really belong close together.

That's right, I would need my specs for the plotter, then take them off for the screen next to it!
