just got my hands on a Mitchell sea angler, its in great condition but hasn't seen the water in around ten years.
It was painted after it was last taken out but its pretty faded now, peeling in places and I have started rubbing down the wood so have scrapped the paint so it needs done
I realise 2 pack would be best but im unsure what paint is on it and have read you cant put it on 1 pack paints, id like to strip it all back and do it properly but want to get it in the water this year, that can come later so looking for a decent paint to last a couple of seasons. Any recommendations as there is so much choice.
She is a grp hull and cab, the cab paint is peeling off in places back to the gellcoat so I may have to go ahead and strip it all.
Will using paint stripper damage the grp or gellcoat?
