Which One do I get.

Not just because I have one but I wouldn't put Sessa in the same league as the other two. It's definitely a cut above and I believe europe's largest pleasure motorboat builder by volume?

Kev

The Beneteau Boat Group is MASSIVELY bigger than Sessa as a builder.
Sessa is a relatively small player by comparison.
Amongst other brands, the Beneteau group builds Beneteau, Jeanneau & Ocqueteau (Now there is another brand for the OP to consider) boats.
The boats range in size from the tiny little Rigiflex range right up to the Prestige 60.

The dry weight of both the Antares 650 and MF625 is 1080Kg ex engine.
They are both the tiniest fraction under 21' in length. Don't know the loa of the Sessa.
But I guess it is close the the 22' length it suggests and IF it is 1100Kg as you state then the extra foot only adds 20Kg? I would guess it is a slightly lighter built boat.

All 3 are very good for small Peche Promenade style boats.
All 3 have good and bad points. The worst of the Sessa is, IMHO, the low speed handling, the best is the fractionally more spacious feel.
All three are OK out doing what boats do best. As with most pilot house styles they can all be a little hard going into a head sea - simply slow down - and need to be pushed harder and trimmed out a little in a following sea. I do not have the experience to say for sure, but I suspect that the Sessa will be a little touchier in a following sea if not kept on top of.

Not including sail boats and each brand as individuals?

I don't know the answer but was told some time ago that Sessa make in excess of 1000 motorboats a year (branded Sessa) which made them the biggest by volume in Europe?

No big deal either way.

Hi Sassari1, If you have a Sessa 22 for sail or info about the boat, get me on my Mob. Cheers, Leeloafer

Many thanks for your interesting and informative phone call, specially about the Mobile. I've just edited it out. I have phoned the Netley oufit and they say that, sadly , Milly has been sold !! Many thanks anyway. Cheers Leeloafer

Interesting...

Antares 650 - Dry weight: 1060 Kg without engine
Jeanneau MF625 - Dry weight: 950 Kg without engine
Sessa Dorado 22 - Dry weight: 1100 Kg without engine

Guy Couach 22 (6.6m) Dry weight 1300 Kg without engine. This is why I bought one. They remind me of boats built by Nelson, ie built like a brick s***house, also with the transome it is easy to put an auxilury on the back. Twin stainless steel fuel tanks etc. If you Google, Guy Couach you will find that they are one of France;s best boat builders and some second hand big ones are €3,000,000. Bit like Rolls Royce making a Mini, you get a quality build despite the size. Mine appears to be the only one in the UK.

I agree it is no biggie! We all have our favourites and mine tends to shine through even though I am soooo trying to be as unbiased as possible.

That said, I think you'll find that individually, Beneteau and Jeanneau each make a lot more than 1000 power boats a year. At a guess, closer to double that.
I seem to remember that the Polish yard (the yard that produces all sub 8m powerboats for Jeanneau / Beneteau) at Ostroda can put out 15 boats per day between the two brands.
