Almost forgot - one other thing about the Kru jacket, because it has a mesh across the back you can winch people out of the water by it without breaking their ribs/back. Great bit of kit all round.
Had a Crewsaver for 3 years . Great bit of kit . Double crotch straps . Hood . Hammer Action and the gas bottle is inside the inflation collar so not rust etc . Not that cheap if I remember but its still good after 3 years ..
And another vote for the Kru Sport Pro, despite its single crotch strap. We've added a PLB to each of ours. The PLB fits very well, in a pouch on the waistband element of the safety harness.
Very comfortable jacket type with in built harness and good prices available if you shop around. (I got mine from Boatability at Port Solent)
The earlier ones had a small issue with the cylinder wearing through the jacket in the corner if you wore it a lot (I do) They fixed this under warranty for me and in fact replaced the complete jacket which is proving to be first class.
I have had loads of jackets over the years and this is the most comfortable unobstrusive one yet.
