A few people on this forum rate the Lenovo as a good budget tablet, does anyone know the difference between the Lenovo Tab 2 A10-30 and the Lenovo Tab 2 A10-70?

Thanks.

I think

The 10-30 does not have a sim capacity, that's the one I got. You can tether it to your mobile or WiFi for internet.
Great value and battery life. Not a laptop replacement. It is the one I pick to take with me for the day.
Bit slow

Believe the 10-70 has a sim capacity?

Both models have wifi only or wifi + 4g options.

The 10-30 runs on Android lolipop, the 10-70 might come with lolipop or it might be kitkat, but should be updateable.

The 10-70 has a slightly faster CPU.

I'm using a 10-30 wifi only model. It tethers to my mobile, which suits me better than having a SIM card in the tablet, i don't want two contracts just for data. It works very well for navigation, although you need to keep it out of direct sunlight. Argos have been selling "factory refurb" ones on Ebay for £89.99

Thanks everyone, so for those of you who have a A10-30, do you find it too slow? I plan to use it for navionics, internet browsing and watch the occasional movie.

No, it's very impressive for the money.
So far I've only played with it a bit for navionics, TV, browsing, youtube videos and streaming the Raymarine sounder too but it's handled all those tasks with ease.

If anyone has worked out how to turn the vibrating off on the A10-30 can they let me know please!

Your wish is my command :

Settings
Language & input
Google keyboard
Vibrate on keypress

Also, to turn it off on the home, back and recent buttons :

Settings
Sound & notifications
Other sounds
Vibrate on touch

:)

You, dear sir, are a true gentleman, scholar and all round good guy! I have been hunting for the solution to this for a couple of weeks but to no avail.

Thanks everyone, I have now purchased a refurb Lenovo but went for the A10-70 as it was only £109. Pleased with it so far.

Does anyone know how to install Navionics charts to a second device....I already have it installed on my phone and now downloaded to my Lenovo, but I can't seem to get the chart to load, all I get is the basic chart. I am using the same non-HD App. Any ideas?

Thanks.

As long as you have signed into Google with the same email address for both your phone and your tablet, any purchases in the PLay Store carry across onto your new device. If you registered the owner of the new tablet with a difference email address to your phone, you'll have to make a second user for the tablet with the email that you use on your phone. Then download Navionics when in the new user mode and hey presto

Thanks for the info, I am already using the same email address for both phone and tablet on Play store. It worked before with another device, so puzzled why it won't work this time. The new tablet shows my Map subscription but when I click on it to download, I am prompted to pay for the map. Puzzled.
