Which impeller for a Perkie 4108 ??

The Owner's Manual clearly shows 6 blades but everywhere I go I see adverts for Volvo Penta-similar 12 blade units. Am I safe to use a 12 blader even tho' it seems there's not enough space for the water?? Is this worry about impellers just too paranoic?

Yes, on a 4.108 the normal Jabsco pump impellor is fine but what they often benefit from is going to the maximum size of intake pipe feeding the pump. Some installations came with a pipe reduced to 1/2" or 15mm, this should be 3/4" or 22mm, temperature control via the engine thermostat on both raw water and Bowman heat exchanger cooled units.

I have 2 Jabsco impellers claiming to be suitable for "Perkins 4.107/108/235/" ....... so must be ok! just posted in the "For Sale" forum, better say no more lest I be doin multiple posts or whatever
