I'm going to paint a plywood transom in 2 pack Epifanes Blue 854, its a very dark colour.

I need a dark epoxy primer, which one?

Perfection primer is only in white.

I can;t make sense of the Hempel website.

I tried Nautix but it was really realy realy thick and hopeless to apply.

Gelshield is supplied in grey and green. Good low temperature application. Either colour gets covered by black a/f well.

I do like Epifanes.

Perfection paint by Interlux is a two part polyurethane which replaces the interthane line. ... Paint Supplies · Brushes · Paint Rollers · Paint Pots · Mixing · Paint Strippers · More Paint ..... I purchased about a gallon of the epoxy primer and 6 quarts of the Flag blue Perfection. ... The color was flag blue which is a very dark blue.

I tried to contact Marinewear via email, but no reply...likewise Boatpaint in Gosport...no reply.

Despite the best efforts of the Hempel web development team to effect a smoke screen around their products, I found in the chandler a tin of Hempel epoxy primer in dark blue. Perfect.
