Which Dubarry boots

I have been bought a pair of Dubarry Ultima sailing boots for Christmas that have to be exchanged for a wider fit.
I noticed on the Dubarry website that for the same price they also do the Shamrock and the Fastnet boot that have "fabric" sides as opposed to the suede/nubuck of the Ultima's.
As I have only used deck wellies in the past has anyone any experience of which would be the more versatile ones as my sailing usually starts with launching the dinghy on a muddy slip way and as this is the ultimate in extravagance they will have to last my lifetime .

I've had a pair of the Ultra boots for 10 years now - best boots I've ever had and can't rate them highly enough. However, I've no experience of their other boots.

dubarry will stretch them for you foc if you send them direct. had my new stbd boot done sent my old ones as well all foc within one week came back foc del as well

Looks like they do a wider fit check it out on the link.
I can certainly recommend their products Lady Salt and Daughter have the country ones for looking after the Gee Gee's.
But I doubt you will get a life time out of them theirs give up after 2-3years hard use.

before you get them stretched or try another style on. try a pair from a different batch on. the sizing is all over the place.... I recently tried various 9 and 9.5 on until i got the right fit. I now have the ultima in the grey and blue only because they fitted better than the brown one's

Yep, worth every penny, and my friends will tell you I'm a mean scrote who does not say such things lightly.

Stitching wore through on the top of the foot due to too much kneeling before SWMBO on the anti slip fore deck, they repaired them FOC and are now good as new. Excellent boots, great company, and worth every cent.
