Where's Blakes lock gone to?

Never noticed this before but the EA seem to have lost Blakes lock. Now you can travel straight from Caversham to Sonning. .

You can travel straight from Caversham Lock to Sonning Lock.

Blakes Lock is on the Kennett/Thames connection and not on the route from Caversham to Sonning?

Simple answer really, Blakes lock isn't on the Thames but is on the river Kennet in Reading which feeds into the Thames between Caversham and Sonning. So no need to go through Blakes lock unless you are going up the Kennet

If I'm not mistaken, Blakes Lock is not actually on the Thames, but on the River Kennet.

I could have sworn I went through Blakes when going up and down the river in May. Less drink next time for me .
