Sure looks like the east bank of Looe harbour, above the fish market sheds in the background. A bit of a 'gaiveaway' with that Fowey-registered ( FY ) restored/re-rigged sailing 'lugger', and those other sailing luggers around it.

Maybe the gallant fishermen who ply out of Looe are a little more tolerant of visitors in traditional boats than their reputation would suggest.

I don't think it's necessarily a visitor - the same boat is in the photo of the East Quay on Looe's own website!

The ex lifeboat is the old Cadgwith Lifeboat, 'Guide of Dunkirk', owned my boatbuilder John Moore of Mevagissey. Donated by the girl guides, built at Rowhedge, went straight to Dunkirk before delivery, in service until 1963.
