Where to winter in North Wales

I kept my 26 footer in ABC in Beaumaris last winter and had excellent service. It cost around £700, including lifts, from the end of October until the middle of May. I will use them again.

Have also used ABC and found them decent and the cheapest option ashore. Rhyl is good value if you have your own cradle. You can do it for ~£200 for 6 months if you want to stay afloat and can get to Fiddlers Ferry Yacht Haven in the upper Mersey.

Arthur the HM at Rhyl did have some cradles which were being offered as part of the deal. Dunno whether they have run out though.

Maybe a bit out of date now but the best place (imo) used to be Dinas boatyard. Used to be hard to get in (a bit of dead mans shoes situ) but not even sure if it is still there. If it is, then a really nice (and value for money) place. They have hard standing and some large sheds.

Excellent yard and still in business, used it for several years. http://www.dinasboatyard.com/
