where to sail in devon?

Hi All,

I'm hoping to spend Easter weekend messing around in a sailing dingy, and would like to combine this with a visit to some (sailing) friend living near Exeter.

So, dose anyone know of a boat friendly campsite in that part of the world? or one near to a good slipway / beach for launching?

Dawlish Warren has direct access to the sea, and is not too far from the estuary in case it's a bit windy, but can become crowded. The estuary itself is good dinghy sailing, but can be a bit muddy at springs.

You could try Devon Valley Holiday Village

It's on the banks of the River Teign & has a slipway & dinghies.
