Anyone know of some good sites for second hand boats? I've tried Boats and Yachts Magazine, Boatmart and most of the brokers within. Is there some fantastic site I'm missing out on to locate my dream vessel? If you know of one please let me know.

From my weary experience all the Mags and Websites only list what shiny Toys the brokers what to sell. There is no substitute for drivng round the boatyards and marinas and ASKING whats really for sale and whats got to go.Ie the stuff on the furthest pontoon from the office.
Not the boats that the owners only really want to find out if they can get enough to pay off the loan and the outstanding mooring fees.

Just hold tight dear it will not be so rough when we get round the corner, trust me.

Many boatyards are getting fussy about what they sell. some only want 2 /3 year old boats.

I think its something to do with the free morring while the boats for sale. people think this is a cheap way of mooring and then change their mind in the good weather

I have trawled many sites for nearly two years until I bought my boat.Give me some idea of what sort of boat you want and Ill try to recommend a site.
What is your location and how far will you travel to view/buy?

We are looking for a steel aft-cabin 10/12 metre craft & have inspected dozens of dutch sites! Any [helpful] suggestions would be much appreciated.
