where to get a manual?

hi again,,,,i need a manual for my mercruiser130 engine and my alpha1 outdrive...
does anyone know where i can get one from...
also are the outdrives easy to refurbish and can i get the parts in the uk?
im very mechanicly minded ,or is it a specialist job

Seloc are to marine engines what haynes are to cars. Keypart in watford stock the manuals. They should also sell you any parts that you may require. Find out what engine your unit is based on and then go to the various cars shops for the parts.

As far as refurbing out drives go. Er.... can be done, its the parts that can cost an arm and a leg (no pun intended, honest) I've just had to repair some stripped gears in my Vilevo 280. I'm assured by my mate that matched the gears that the one that went in came from a Skoda!

OK, to hell with it. Unbolt it and we'll use it as an anchor!
