I have just got a full refund this monring on two exide leisure batteries that I bought at Costco last year. In the last month the batteries just havent been holding their charge and after two days the volts were down to 11.8.

I now need to buy two new service batteries, any suggestions on who has the best deals at the moment?

GO outdoors are offering numax 75amp batteries for £39.99 but you need a discount card i think they are a fiver.

Thanks for all the replies, I ordered two sealed 113AH ultra deep cycle batteries from Lucas Direct yesterday, they were delivered this morning - first class service and they have a three year Lucas guarantee.

Well, tis a pity you moved so quickly. Best buy, for others looking. are very deep cycle, golf cart batteries. 6volt, 250 ah at £76. I have just ordered another 12. The last gave 9 years of service. Golf cart batts are recomended by Nigel Calder. (Read the book) If anyone is interested, 'Supac' ltd, unit 2 , Goathill rd ind est, merthyr Tydfil, CF48 3TD.
