Where to buy materials for sewing (sprayhood, bimini, covers, cushions) in UK/EU?

Canvas, foam, clips, etc.
Also I would like to know where to buy the steal parts of the sprayhood.

I would like to find a place to buy these materials from a supplier in english, and ships to Finland.

I bent the SS tubes for my sprayhood using a bending spring for plumbing. It was harder work than copper, but doable. Make a template out of MDF or similar to get the right profile

If your tubing is more resistant, then a "proper" pipe bender will provide the force needed - something like this:

I’ve always used Point North for my fabrics and other bits for canvas projects. Their website is here Profabrics | Waterproof & Breathable Fabric and they offer worldwide delivery.
As to the frame, you can get most bits from ASAP Supplies here Marine Products, Boat Parts and Spares - ASAP Supplies. But note that you
probably need a local company to supply and bend the tubes.

Second Point North / Profabric. I have used their materials to make a replacement Sprayhood fitting over the old frames. Made with a sturdy home sewing machine.

use Sailrite from the USA...better and about the same price as Europ and cheaper usually than the same products in the uk.

Another vote for Point North. I have loved the way they can be relied on to provide advice, test samples, fast delivery and generally excellent products all round. If you don't manage to find something on their website, give them a call... I have been using them happily since 2004.

Don't forget about customs duty, and VAT on entry.
I posted this on 4th April:

"What would stop me buying from Sailrite again is that they refuse to enter the actual shipping cost they have charged on the Commercial Invoice so, instead, HMRC calculates a notional shipping cost based on the invoice total and applies that, and you pay VAT on that.
My lost order to Sailrite had an actual shipping cost of £26.40.
Because Sailrite would not enter this on the Commercial Invoice, HMRC applied a notional shipping cost of £168.61 and I had to pay VAT on that instead of the actual figure.
So my purchase from Sailrite cost me £28 more than it need have done.
I complained to HMRC, FedEx and Sailrite and got nowhere.
It is a pity since I like Sailrite and, were it not for this incident, would have been happy to place further orders."
