I am in the process of planning to replace my rudder bearings. I've noted, whilst preparing for the job, if water washes over the area of the emergency tiller connection, it travels down the bearings and the stock. I want nice, dry top bearings, without crud washing onto them and into the back locker.
A fellow, expert Bavaria owner has a screw-on stainless cover above the emergency tiller attachment. Does anyone know where to source such a beasty?
