-some cheap small lengths of plastic tubing to put in the skin fittings while the boat is on hard standing - to stop water ruining the newly, as yet unappleid antifouling ?

Tried all the chandlers at LIBS with absolutely no joy whatsover, so tried my local Aladdins Cave, same result.

The sizes are 35mm and 23mm - these are the internals of the skin fitting, rather than the internal of the tube.

Hope this makes sense ?

Try a garden centre. Or better still, try a water garden place - they have plastic tubing in all sorts of sizes.

Don't really understand, surely the antifouling will get wet sooner rather than later. Anyway have you thort about a plumbers merchant?

i thought i was missing summink. I mean, he waits until it's dryinsh, then plonk on the tape and then slaps around with antifoul. And dabs the other bits in the sling. A teensy bit of water may come out of the skin fittings praps if it rains once applied but not blimmin much i bet.

just seal off the skin ftgs with duck tape for the few hours it takes for the a/f to dry, or shove laboratory rubber bungs in em

TCM, thought this would get you going !

The antifoul is Seatech, by Blakes, and is water soluuble, hence don't want it to be washed off by dripping water from the fittings!

If I can't get any tubing I'll tape them off for 24 hours, which is the time the a/f needs before relaunch.

shove some cheap diy softwood tapered plugs up the holes and stop worrying about it.............
Make a good job of em and you can use em again and again.....

Use the nearest size of pipe & wrap masking tape round it to make it the correct size, then bung it in.

It works well as I have used the method on a shower outlet while living aboard while slipped for weeks at a time.
