Feeling in an exceptionally pedantic mood this morning for reasons I won't go in to.

So, for the record, the Thames is not located on a map. The location, or course, of the Thames is printed on many maps provided they cover the relevant geographical area.

Oldgit is, strictly speaking, incorrect as the whole of the Thames is not in the South East of England, the upper reaches being more correctly described and being in central southern or possible even verging on the Midlands.

Please note that there has been no return visit from the OP and I am left wondering ............
