Where is it?

Spotted this kingfisher while at anchor in Caladh harbour. Please excuse the dodgy quality the light was bad and I'm still coming to terms with the camera, a Nikon D40X.
I didn't know kingfishers fished in salt water. This one certainly does.

Thread drift about kingfishers, saltwater and Greek folklore…
Alkyon (or Halcyon to anglophones) is the Greek name for them. Greek Folklore has it that at the winter solstice they magically calm the seas where they live, hence the saying Halcyon days…

We certainly have salt-water kingfishers around here. I have seen them in the Colne, and there was a pair that seemed to be resident under the pontoons of Suffolk YH.
