A nice unseasonally 'blue sky' snap taken on Sunday - opportunist weather window for son's 10th B'Day, but where is it? ;)

Dorset more like. Looks like LR although the beach seems to have become more shingle since I was last there, and that' same very low tide, don't normally see so much of the reef.

Did you pick up the fossil? A good mate of mine was also there on Sunday, they had lunch in the Cobb. Small world.

Seems very strange to be digging up all that rancid mud and then put it on the (imported) Sandy beach. Still, it's probably all been washed back again now.

Yes, the kids (Ed & a couple of friends) all found some - mostly Ammonites, but we also found some on the beach - along with a few Belemnites. No T-Rex. :(

Lunch at The Cobb was good - we'd walked our feet off by then, but we still spent another couple of hours on the beach at LR! I keep saying I'll run up in the 14' from Torquay in the summer, but yet to happen! Suspect half the mud (and probably the machinery) is up in the Solent after tonight's squall... :D

Added a couple more of the beach for Sarabande...
