Unusual place by the sea, but where?

Kingairloch

It's the Boathouse restaurant at Kingairloch, Loch a'Choire. Stunning situation, excellent moorings. The food is superb for such a remote place.

The loch entrance always seems to have a complete wind system of it own whenever we have been there.

Well done. (though 130 or so others didn't make a guess).

I didn't know it is a restaurant. We've stopped there several times.
Yesterday, while there was no wind in Loch Linnhe, in this little Loch off the side there was about F4. We sailed out with Jib only, only to run out of wind entirely 500m off the entrance, back to doldrums!
No wonder that one handbook suggests "subject to violent squalls). If it can magic up F4 from nothing, what must if be like in a blow?

The visitor moorings seemed busy enough. It's certainly a nice place to visit, but don't think I'd spend a night there on anchor; might be OK on the moorings - they look new!
