Well since no one seems to have gotten it. The answer was Ferrycarrig in Wexford.
The longship is the 'Gaia' which had sailed from Norway via the UK to a big re-enactment festival in the heritage park which is just beside the river. Gaia also visited Dublin which can be seen here.
The name Wexford itself is a viking name, they called it Waesfiorde which is believed to mean the bay of the mudflats.
Wexford harbour itself is a challenging and regularly over looked destination but there's plenty of info here:

Thanks for that one. It does look like a tricky entrance - we were late for the best water and spent a very uncomfortable night at anchor in the bay. Despite only having a fairly light westery breeze, we were surprised by the swell.
While there, the ferry for Fishguard radioed the CG with its details, so many passengers and crew, and, errm, "one elephant".
