A lady has contacted the MSBA to ask if anyone knows the whereabouts of a Folkboat by the name Capella, reg number SSR139283. Her father passed away suddenly having left the boat to her but did not tell her the exact location. If you have any information I would be happy to pass it on. I believe there was one by that name at Suffolk Yacht Harbour but I don't know if that was the same one she is looking for.

Annoyingly the name rings a bell but I cannot think why or where.
Surely she has access to clues? Sailing friends of his? Bills for moorings?
Presumed you've asked the secretaries of MSBA member clubs, Tony?

I might be wrong, but I think I saw a yacht called Capella in West Mersea on 6th August. I remember the name because I am learning Spanish and I knew/thought it meant Chapel

Morning all,
We have had a few boats by the name Capella over the years. We will be happy to help where we can but as I'm sure you'll all appreciate it's not something we will be able to discuss over open forum. I would suggest that any interested parties contact us directly and we can then look into it further.

Many thanks

Bob
