Just moored up at Runnymede. Loads of space. Very few boats out, just a couple of small hire boats locked thru PH with us and on our own thru Bell Weir. Lovely sunny day and its not Wimbledon or World Cup yet so where is everybody ?

Can't be many of their boats who can get up there, must be a very select bunch:)

Not really , just a few adaptions have been made to various roof configurations and some have borrowed boats, so they can do what Upper Thames is good at, you know, boating!:)

There were 5 or 6 boats at the Rose

The largest of which was a rather nice Birchwood (I think) that had a hardtop that looked like it folded back onto the aft cabin roof and a screen that looked like it had been modded to fold forward

Came past Pangbourne on Friday mid morning only two cruisers one nb. on the entire meadow, although the bankside quite busy at Beale Park for the show.

I suppose my question should really have been "why are there so few boats on the river on a lovely June Sunday?"

Very quiet out on the medway yesterday
I reckon we saw approx 30 yachts and 20 or so motor boats sounds a lot but thats in 9 hours motoring, at least half of the motor boats were fishing boats.

Seems to be ok. Lots of muck came out at high revs in neutral, so maybe it was salted up (previous owner used it at sea).

Took it round Queens Eyot three times, and down to Bray Studios and back. Some steam on the first lap of the Eyot, but after a couple of minutes idling the tell tale resumed. (maybe about the time of the thermostat opening?). No problems after that even at WOT into the stream.
