That's nearly £13/kg. What a rip off, someone along the line is really price gouging that one. Disposable cylinders at Aldi are about a third of the price per kg of gas. If someone could come up with suitable connectors you could refill your 907 from disposables for about £12, & create a load of waste while you're at it. It's bonkers.
Of course, no-one on this forum would EVER consider refilling their own 907s totally and completely safely, using a large butane cylinder with proper connectors and high pressure hose bought from a reputable supplier such as BES. Especially so when such refills mean that the outlay on the large cylinder and kit is repaid somewhere during the 2nd refill and subsequent refills work out at approx £4 a time. Nor would they ensure that the total weight of the refilled cylinder was no more than 4.65kg.
Plus plenty of fresh air of course; not a job to do in the cellar.Of course, no-one on this forum would EVER consider refilling their own 907s totally and completely safely, using a large butane cylinder with proper connectors and high pressure hose bought from a reputable supplier such as BES. Naturally! Remiss of me not to mention that requirement if the (entirely hypothetical) situation arose.Plus plenty of fresh air of course; not a job to do in the cellar.
