Where have I been? lots of pics

Just got back from a loverly trip, we started in the Hamble, but where did we go?

Here are some pictures to see if you know where I went, I have loads more too /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif

Well we left the hamble and arrived just as the sun set here.

Then we set sail on the longest leg of the trip, en route we picked up a target on MARPA and thought what the heck is that, it is bloomin fast.............

It was a very low flying plane /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif

So we made it to here for a 1st stop, but where is it?

We passed this on the way in ...........

So after we left here we set off on leg 2, en route we had a bit of a swell, I ttok this pic, he did come back up again btw /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

So we next stopped here

But where is it?

This was my transport

In this city they have these things

They look like fun, hehehe

But these looked scarey, and I thought the pot markers in the Solent were poorly marked

So we continued on leg 3 and passed this

en route to our destination to here.....

we went for a trip last Wednesday to here.......

I wonder if the builder made a deal wiv Dulux?

Portugal!

Ponte 25 de Abril is the suspension bridge across the Tagus River in Lisbon. Not sure about the other places.

This bridge is the sister bridge to the Golden Gate Bridge in San Fransisco (same builder).

Nice pics and even better Fleming 55!!

Yup the bridge is Lisbon, nice place.

And I totally agree the Fleming was a great boat, we did 1100 miles in 8 days in it.

The buildings are awful and totally out of character with the surrounding area.

I have an almost identical photo of Cabo Sao Vicente (the one with the lighthouse) from when we sailed past it 15 years ago - doesnt seem to have changed much!

Yes it is a little shocking isn't it?

It is also so far out from Albufeira itself it is not wort a visit (yet) maybe as it developes it will be better.
