Where do you stow the tender?

THe boat we lived on here for a year had an aft cockpit from which you could sfaely lean over and drop lines on dock cleats plus a transom gate and swim platform for easy access ashore. These pics are scrollablethrough all my flikr stuff, getting one to show alone has proven difficult..

Marine Trader 47AC no relation to UK Traders. Built in Taiwan, twin Cummins 250HP diesels. great live aboard and economical to run at 8gph/8kts overall both engines inc generator even though it had 480W of solar power on the hardtop. WOT with tanker following behind was about 17kts.

This is the correct way to launch a tender

I picked ones at the 110k mark, I would imagine after offer and survey you would be under the 100k requirement. Here are two cheaper 'original' examples for comparison.

Sabre 120's - http://www.yachtworld.co.uk/boats/1...isher-Trawler-38-2719217/Croatia#.WLgpLv5vhzl

Sabre 212's - http://www.eyb-boats.com/power-boats/power-inboard/fairways-marine/fairways-38-trawler/639592.html

Anyway, just an exercise in lateral thinking, there are any number of 'trawler types' to choose from, the fairways just happens to be my favourite. Also see Colvic Beta 38 and any number of C-Kip, Choy Lee Taiwanese boats.

As a US brand don't Carver have a lot of designs with covered decks -> possibility to store a tender above.

On your second boat, the Fairways 38, what do you think is the anti slip stuff on the decks? Looks like rubber sheets.

The fishers are on our list but not if they are far away in Greece or Coatia etc. We will be arriving back with nowhere to stay except short term, no transport, except rented car short term at least, so price AND location are important and we need to keep some cash in hand for any necessary repairs or additions. The President Trawler in your earlier post looks very like the one we lived on in the USA but called a marine trader there, maybe the same boat.

Carvers are not the best build quality, least in the USA.

The Colvic 38 trawlertoo is also interesting and there is a nice one in Tewksbury right now..

My question is for information in advance however as by the time we sell up and get there, the boats for sale now may be long gone. Already several I had saved links to have vanished from the market.
