Ah, understand the name now ;) A friend of mine does sea kayaking, not sure of Kayak size, but he goes a good few miles along the coast and back in some quite bumpy water! He's athletic however and I'm not - plus he can swim well and I can't - the probability of ending up in the drink in a Kayak is I'm sure much greater too! I think I'll stick with the MoBo... :D

Falling in is part of the fun;) 100% guaranteed when surfing or in white water if trying hard enough. The bigger the waves the better. If you have trained well you never have to swim ;) Rolling upright with or without a paddle gets to be automatic after enough practice. It needs to be or it don't wrok.

Falling over is best avoided though if you're paddling in January or Februay and have to knock the ice out of the boat first. Sea spray will freeze on the buoyancy aid.

Tip for the novice user - If overnighting in a tent trying to put on a frozen solid wetsuit in the morning is best avoided. Please don't ask how I learnt that;)

Having had trailer based boats up to 25ft over the years (currently 21ft), the key I think is to spend some thought and time setting up the trailer and your launch procedure so that it is quick and simple and therefore less of a bind.
I've turned up at the slipway before behind someone, and have been off on the water whilst they are still trying to undo the thousand knots they seem to have tying their boat and covers down!
I guess living just few miles from a good slipway helps also with the spontaneous trip option. Also if you have to move 3 cars, half a dozen wheelie bins and a lawn mower out of the way just to get the boat out would discourage you from taking advantage of that suprise perfect afternoon!
One of the main advantages of trailering for me though has to be the opportunity to use a fortnights holiday to boat in the Med, Adriatic or one of the european lakes.
