Do tinned busbars with holes exist?
I am working up the courage to tackle the spaghetti behind my fuse panel and have been looking for suitable busbars and connector blocks. The only tinned busbars and terminal blocks I can find are flat bars with flat head terminal screws which I guess are used with crimp-on spade/ring terminals on the ends of the wire.
I had anticipated using ones more like the choc block connectors ie a hole for the wire and a grub screw to secure it. Because corosion almost always occurs at a junction it seems to me that using crimp spades to the busbar means 2 junctions whereas the other is only one which must be better IMO or am I missing something.
I would appreciate the views of the forumites.
