Where can i find....

following on from my post

after taking apart the steering unit, it appears there are 3 cogs behind the steering wheel, 2 of which have teeth missing (which ended up sheering off and jamming the wheel).

I don't suppose anyone knows if these cogs are readily available in chandlers or anywhere else? I'm hoping I don't need to have to replace the entire mechanism just for 2 cogs?

I hope you know, there are folk who can make new cogs, or even mend the old ones. Not sure if it's economic these days, but we used to do it all the time.

I'M sure you can if only I could remember where! I had a similar problem on my Seamaster 950 Sportsman 10 years ago. I wrote to the manufacturers (Teleflex IIRC) who posted me a set of replacements.
