Where can I buy a new vinyl boat name?

Trouble is getting the old one off (when changing boat name)................?

and dealing with the discolouration if you have a dark coloured hull :( My ones are all staying on even though they are in Greek from the first owner and say Saltash (painted) from the second! The Cornish Crabber 24 logo writing also leaves an imprint when people take them off, maybe able to cut back the discoloration out though.

I've got a vinyl cutter, and I'm happy to make signs at cost price.

I've had a couple of enquiries about this, so here is more info:

Best thing would be for you to order the vinyl, or tell me which one you want. Look on eBay for "sign adhesive vinyl roll", or I can give you some links if it helps. Don't go with the cheapest, you want 5 or 7 year, preferably more. I have bought from user signmakingandsupplies before and they are good. Note that I can also do stencils for painting the letters, I did this for my dinghy and it worked well.

I can do up to 605mm wide, any length. I need about 400mm for runout, plus the same again for testing the cut, ideally an extra metre. Don't get A4 or A3 pieces, the cutter works best at around 600mm wide.

I need to know the letter height, the overall width, the font, and any special requirements such as modified kerning; a Word document with the layout would help. If a non-standard font I will need a copy of it that will work in Windows.

Costs on top of the actual vinyl are: application tape, 50p per metre (cheaper for smaller letters), a £1 contribution for wear on the cutter head, plus P&P to you. Feel free to add on beer money :)
