I made a huge mistake.I bought a very nice sail boat it needed work which i did and took far longer than planed cost far more as well.
Now i want/have to sell it before the seasons over ive paid for its port place for the year and a large storage unit for sails etc i did intend to look for about 6000€ but now ill be happy to get half that or less!!Its that bad If it dosent go this year ill have to pay another 1200€ for another 12 months

I made a bad calculation and have almost no money to get through the summer.If i dident have to sell this boat i would be fine free river banks to tie up to im well stocked up.If i have to go into a port, which i would to sell the other, it would be the end money wise.

Which are the best online site to advertise and for free theres no money for £20 hear or £40 there im liveing on £60 a month untill next october

What i forgot was paying for the boat im on!The longer i stay to sell, the more it will cost me.And now i have to be somewhere else compleatly for summer

I really have got myself into a pickel.

The boat has a new cooker/grill, engine,two sets of sails a fine capable 26 footer very pretty boat

No! I dident say what the boat is!so if someone were looking for say a folkboat or Stella they wouldent know there was one for sale.

Im desperate!Its already almost July and i dont know what to do!If its not sold next winter will be very hard if i have to pay for two boats!Albeit mine only for (weather permiting)three months in port

I saw a profit to help the summer now i hopeing i wont loose to much but loose i will!

That is a bit deperate.I do have a lot of work from october getting boats ready for winter and in march getting them ready for the new season

This year began very well untill something went wrong,it has to do with a woman!One way or another they can cost more to run than a boat.

The origanal intention was to save me the yearly trek to free cruising grounds.Then i decided to travel slowly around Europe via the inland waterways.
That means that to lay up this boat i would have to pay summer rates,which even inland are quite enough to curl the hair.
If i went on hands and knees i might find a "job" which would bring in after taxes and social charges which i would have to pay but not benifit from (i pay privatly)perhaps 600€
From that id have to pay a mooring with water at about 25€ a day or 700€ pm that would then cost me 100€ to do washing up or cutting grass whatever

Lifes not that bad!But someone will benift from the boat im selling its very very good value if you want a folkboat they sail very well.Its my own stupid fault The other thing that provoked this sudden sale was chance that next summer ill be on the black sea and that will mean another year of storeing the boat.
Wven thought the port charges are modest(by todays norms) i would just be paying and then have to go up to clean her new antifouling etc all costs for no benifits.As well as haveing to put my present boat up at summer rates
Life can be hard,i cant even get to the UK to buy more tea bags,im useing foreign ones!

Are you in France? If so, this firm may help. Or any Folkboat Association in any country. Try Googling Folkboat for addresses.
 
I used e bay expecting to sustain a hefty loss for a quick sale and was chuffed to make a decent profit instead. All went in overdraft, mind. The there were 20 odd bidders, none of which wanted to see the boat before bidding.

Make sure you include lots of pictures and are honest about the description, warts and all. Start the bidding yourself if you want at a level that is below the minimum you will accept.

And make it cash on delivery or get the cheque cleared before collection.

gosh!there a FB there exactly as the one im selling but the asking price is 12000€!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Perhaps i should?If only i could,Ill be happy with 3000€ inc.the port and storage paid.Id even accept a few hundred less if need be.

Ill get on with the adverts this weekend.

I thought of ebay but ive never really trusted it buying (paying) or selling but yes ill certainly try later.

Sounds interesting? If its a very early example in good condition it sounds very interesting for an Italian looking for a collection boat.

I dont have any Italian web sites if you find one try there.FBs are just great!
