Went out to give my new Forum Flag a maiden voyage up the lake

Took some pics of the people from the next mooring who were airing their sails further up the lake. Very little wind. That's why we went mobo.

It was a very nice afternoon and the work I've been doing on my Johnson has paid dividends.

Actually I've been putting some snazzy new graphics from Funky Monkey Design on my boat and right nice she looks. Shame I forgot to take a picture.

We were out today.
Shamrock Quay down to the needles and south of IOW spent a good 4hrs wandering around the Solent.
The weather was so bad I have a sun burnt head (shortage of hair cover you understand)
All in all a great day, I think I will head out tomorrow /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif.

What berth are you on now? I'm down having full debrief on the operating systems Phantom 48 prior to teaching on it next week.

Hi David,

I am on the hammer head of Alpha pontoon.
Are you down there with Paul from Fairline Soton tomorrow?
I would offer to help but I only just understand the workings of my 38 /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif
I should be there for a large chunk of the day may or may not go out, crew permitting, come and grab a coffee with me when your free.
Cheers.

A nit-picker writes...

In the finest tradition of these forums, shouldn't the genoa (and its sheet) be outside of the the shrouds? Or is it a LDNPA thing?
