On the bottom of the oil cooler on the aft end of the engine apparently, but I can't find them.
Anyone able to provide a very simple diagram of where they are with stick men and arrows please?

Also, is there any way of getting the air filters out without resorting to a chain saw and a crane?

There's only one anode and its in gearbox cooler.

Thanks all, is the gear oil cooler on the gearbox? I think I must need a visit to spec savers because I can't find the thing.

Thanks for asking all of these questions Murv. And even bigger one to those with the knowledge. I have the same engines and am being lifted out for a week on the 14th for me to do the outside stuff and my first serious service the engines.

Appreciate the pointers. Cheers, Colin.

In the unlikely event that anybody else struggles as much as I do with these things, the reverse gear oil cooler that contains the anode is UNDER THE TURBO!!

Anyway, all done now.
The port engine one was actually in very good condition so I just gave it a quick sand and replaced it.
The port side, however, was mush. Presumably because of the fernox I'd pumped through the system a couple of weeks previously, so that one was replaced.
And, if anyone else is wondering how on earth you can change the air filters on a Turbo 36, once the floor is up, everything becomes very easy :)

(That's obviously the new anode in the holder sitting next to the "mushy" one)

And, eeeaassyyy access!!
