Yeah, yeah, yeah! Arrived last Saturday to the awsome sight of wall-to-wall sails. Felt like a country bumpkin 'cos I've never seen so many boats together in one place. And those little boats fishing in the middle of the entrance channel! Crazy. We're down on Friday for the w/end too hopefully, planning a stop over night possibly Pilsey Island anchorage, ever so excited.

We were welcomed by Rabbie from this forum as he's moored at Girte Rithe too. We were just tying up - delightfully simple swing mooring after our tricky fore-n-aft, pure joy - and a little voice was heard: "You made it then?!". Also most chuffed by the muddy creekage around there: felt like coming home!

Also organising Emsworth Yacht harbour hard storage for the K30 which is arriving in Chi in the next coupla weeks. Life is goood!!

Sorry Mystique, seem to have hijacked your thread. As I was saying, this month's YM is fab, full of absolutely wonderful... /forums/images/icons/wink.gif

YW arrived today but no YM. Boo hoo - I'll just have to read about all those people in Cannes with 100m yachts instead.

Is replying to yourself like talking to yourself ? When opened YW the front page has a Folkboat. Is this really YW style ?

No YM yet.

Yeah well it arrived - and HWMBO nicked it. Now I know why singlehanders remain that way.

Do we get the left-overs?

Somewhere I have the address of a website giving the statistics for the readership of various magazines but I havn't visited it for a while. As I remember IPC, IBP and other members of the group categorise the various sales by outlet names, the bookstands being the priority target.

I wish I could remember the label given to sales by subscription bought at boat shows etc but as I DO remember it wasn't particularly flattering. Maybe that's why we always get our copies upto a week after the mag appears on WHS.
