I rinsed out the macerator with bucket loads of water....so it was daisy freshwhen I opened her upPersonally, ( not knowing your competence with such things) I would never have sold you a joker valve in the first place, in case you ended up covered in s..t.
On the other hand

You mean that you are not daisy fresh ALL the time---UrgghI rinsed out the macerator with bucket loads of water....so it was daisy freshwhen I opened her up
The toilet was leaking almost imperceptible .....and I wouldn’t have even noticed it...if it wasn’t raw sewageYou mean that you are not daisy fresh ALL the time---Urggh
The dog must have been thrilled. The toilet was leaking almost imperceptible .....and I wouldn’t have even noticed it...if it wasn’t raw sewage
So, first thing I did was tighten all screws...(always go for the easiest fix first)...but it made the leak worse....so I knew there was a crack....it’s the only thing that gets worse when tightened. The dog must have been thrilled.
No, not him.I wasn't a Jaguar 27 was it? Bloke recently posted in various facebook groups asking for help to move it.... next thing it pops up in another group stranded on rocks
I had a similar experience years ago when selling my boat. Never came to anything of course but ended in bad odour, time wasting tyre kickers. Probably not worth considering a novice purchaser if no on water experience - even if the sale goes through, owner errors will be cause for attempted claims on the vendor...Today I travelled to meet someone who wanted to look at my boat with a view to purchasing it.
He has no knowledge of how to sail, no navigation, no knowledge about anything you need to go for a sail. He wanted to buy it at a substantial discount for him to sail across the Bristol channel around Lands End and on to Southampton single handed. I was to give him a couple of hours shakedown then off he would go. All this within two weeks of his upcoming holiday which he planned to do the journey. He would learn on the way.
I suggested he put it on a lorry and learn to sail in his home water.
Lovely bloke, but a potential captain calamity.
Which is why, when I sold Jissel, the bill of sale had words to the effect of as seen and approved.owner errors will be cause for attempted claims on the vendor...
