should it be advisable to come to some pre-sailing agreement regarding the use of digital cameras and ownership of their images? I think this is something the sailing press needs to provide guidance on in the near future, and a standard form to be signed on the pontoon prior to departure could be downloaded from the RYA website - although of course a survey might first be necessary. In the meantime there should be a moratorium on all such photos...
And on a recent visit to the south coast went round HMS Victory (another boat that had its rudder shot to pieces) with my 19 yr old son. I was heard to mutter in the queue about the 20 quid tickets. Bloody hell it was worth every penny and I left feeling somewhat smaller than Nelson's 5'6".
