Anyone know?

Various forecasts ast the beginning of the week predicted a high pressure building bringing lovely warm sunny weather for the weekend, but forecast today for weekend not good.

Anyone got information further ahead might be able to give us some good news? (Pleeeease!!!??)

Mid July for a couple of weeks and then that's your lot. Although it does seem summers are getting later. Recently September and October have been very agreeable.

what d'ya mean it's not made to get wet!!

Warm front passing today, followed by cold (from North Atlantic Low - NW of Ireland), presumably forming an occulted front towards the end ot the week-end with increasing wind. Unless of course the highs in Southern Europe moves up... but as lows tend to move faster than highs.....

Looks like it could warm up a bit and get better into next week, as these highs could make some impact...... assuming that your costal area is in or nearby the English Channel.........

it\'s here

....29 degrees and not a cloud in site. Rain expected in September.

Sorry, don't tell me you're hoping for good weather in UK???????

Re: Davemaster

This occulted front sounds a bit spooky is it driven by demons ?

Believe it when it happens, but just seen this updated today forecast for the coming week...

Hot in the south
During the next few days southern parts of the UK can expect much warmer weather than recently. Temperatures are likely to reach between 27C and 30C. As is usually the case these high temperatures will trigger thunderstorms in places. Further north the weather will generally be cooler and more showery.
Pressure is likely to remain high to the south of the UK during the second half of the week. These will mean southern parts at least should see further sunny spells at times. Again, northern areas can expect the coolest and most changeable conditions. Read the forecast for the week ahead here.
