When is a 37ft boat a 32ft boat?

When printed on the cover of this month's YM!

"Boats on test - Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 37" - turns out to be a test for the Sun Odyssey 32 !!

Oops, find that p45 for the proof reader...

Nope .. thats perfectly correct ... they had it measured by a really helpful South Coast marina manager.

It is just like secondary port calcs - 37' springs, 32' neaps, so therefore it's a test for the SO 34.2 ;-)

My 31-footer is made from the foreskin hide of elephants:
when the marina asks, I throw ice-cold water on her, and she shrinks to 28 ft.

when i have to scrub and sand the bottom, she gets excited, and grows to 45'+
