And the bad neck and sore ribs.

Some **** seems to have knicked my place along side Pickles. No I never set fire to her or nuffing. But some **** seems to have taken his zoo there and wild animals are roaming round the pontoon.

Mirrormile and Sunshine Sally had a very pleasant run over to Conwy last Tuesday, parked by The Pickle and returned to PD on Wednesday via Puffin Island, we actually saw some Puffins too!
We went on to Porth Dinllaen on Friday and returned on Saturday via Pilots Cove.
All in all, a very, very enjoyable week.:D

Hope you got fuelled up okay at PD Haydn, I warned them you were coming!

you need to eat more fresh green vegetables, Haydn.

I paid a visit to Mucky Farter on Saturday morning. I was on my way to Llanddwyn when I spied MF anchored outside of Victoria Dock, Conwy.

Taking Debs invite for tea I tied up alongside - sorry Haydn for upsetting your back - and enjoyed a convivial half an hour while Haydn smoked some green vegetables.

He arrived late Sunday afternoon. I made my excuses and left as the diesel smoke was overpowering.

As for the weekend. Just fantastic. Meeting up with loads of brilliant people in brilliant weather.

Saturday was spent at Pilot's cove where I met up with Little Ship and Providence. Then I did some fishing. Hooked loads of small pollack and cod but then got into some large mackerel.

Then I met up with some friends in Mermaids Cove next door and went for a mooch in the Pliot's cottages.

Saturday night we had a big BBQ by the lock at PD.

Sunday was out to the seaward beach at Abermenai and met up with two other boats. Eleven of us spent the day BBQuing, eating. water skiing, kneel boarding and just generally messing about.

Nothing beats good company with good people, nothing at all.

The word cruise continues, despite adversities, progress so far has been, about ten miles Conwy to Menai. Courtesy of the Price Madoc. Menai to conarfon, about four miles, for fuel and fags. No fuel or fasgs. Two miles back to PD for fuel. Two miles back to Conarfon, for fags. More fuel arrives, but no fags. Awaiting fags in Conarfon, but MF is now fueled passed the gunnals with about 225 gallons aboard, but fag store is running low. Felt like a floating cafe anchored out side Conarfon, as folk stopped by for tea. Next ETA for fags is 0900 HRS tomorrow. Destination Holyhead or mayb not.

Not too long ago I wandered down to Little Ship to have a rummage in the drinks cabinet, and there it was, gone.

Tom must have locked out earlier to preserve supplies for the crossing.
