When does an AWB become a MAB?

MAB's normally have a generic, not-specifically-for-any-particular-boat fuseboard, and randomly placed defunct toggle switches with dyna-tape labels next to them saying things like "COMPASS LIGHT" and "PORT SALOON".

Yes! That's it! That's mine! Hooray............wait a minute, what am I cheering about?

Oh well, I like it.............and a friend is gonna help with the electrics (a kitten's plaything would be an accurate description - you know, a ball of wool after.......you get the drift.

MAB seems mostly appropriate for wooden boats, so how about CPB?



Classic Plastic Boat, say for designs at least 25 years old? AWB is clearly aimed at the modern JenBavs etc, but many of the older popular plastic designs are much sought after classics now.

Me too. I rewired my MAB oooh 5 years ago and just this season I found a toggle switch that I didn't even know existed in the engine bay, It had written next to it in biro, barely readable, just the word "Light". You just can't buy that kind of charm/mankiness.
