Just before Easter, I decided to get my wheel covered.

I had been given a recommendation of a guy who I called up on the Tuesday prior to Good Friday. He gave me a quote of "just under £100".

I told him that I intended using the boat over Easter, and that if convenient for him, I would drop it off to him on Easter Monday (early evening nr Burseldon).

His reply - "Don't u want it for Easter w/end" ?? I told him that ideally I would, but that i wouldn't be at the boat until Thursday evening.

"No problem - if u can get it to me by abt 2000, I'll have it ready for u by 0900 Friday morning (Good Friday).

He did and a fantastic job ! Leather, both glued & stitched - rim & half spokes with a Turks Head at centre helm. Cost - £90

Now - that's what i call real service !

Name & nr can be provided to those interested

Hey, if a company or trader gives good service it is the norm to publish details in public. Those who go that extra mile to give sterling service always deserve recognition and hopefully some follow on business.
