TV and Blue Ray with a zillion copies of the latest fad. Rory the Racing car or In the Night Garden. Two TV sets would be nice. The little horrors can never agree. Spoilt? No, just the new generation god help us

I've only ever read bad reports of those expanding hose pipes ... leaking after using twice and so on .... anyone tell me different, please? I don't want to get one if they're rubbish!

A friend bought one, the proper expensive one rather than any cheap copy. He was proudly showing me how good it was and a slight tug on the hose as it was stuck round a cleat on the pontoon and the end section came off. Basically the thing was in the bin within minutes of him first using it...

I bought a green one from SIBS which worked well and lasted 2 years. I now have a blue X-Hose that are widely sold, and that was fine all summer, but of course I don't know how long it'll last. In the med you need a hose pipe every time you moor to wash off the muck from the lazy lines, so ease of use is way more important than durability. They're cheap so I just keep a spare for when it breaks.

Every Chinese sweat shop has jumped on the bandwagon, so there are a zillion different makes available. Buy a quality one and it will last a while.

Where did you get the inflatable lounge and how much roughly was it

I bought an Aquaglide Fiesta Lounge, and it was £500. It's a quality item though, and feels like it will last forever.

edit: It also means you can cool off when there are jellyfish around.

Was that new or S/H? I haven't found anywhere to give UK prices for the Aquaglide stuff. At £500 Id have one in a heartbeat.
