On this block (stock picture)

There is a "d-shackle" attachment fitting, but it is thin strip not round bar and held in with a pin and split ring not a screw.

I noticed that the one on my own block had become twisted out of shape and wondered if I can gat a replacement but all the d-shackles I see are round bar type.

Probably better to replace the whole block but I just wondered what the correct name is and if they are obtainable on their own?

Cheers

Most chandleries have those, often hanging on a bit of string rather than on the main racks or pigeon holes.
They are cheap enough to keep a few spares.
If your one is distorted through load rather than accident it may be you are getting near the maximum load for the block. Consider upgrading.

AKA 'rigging link' when it's a clevis pin and ring, not a threaded pin.
