What's the most brutal paintstripper?

For deck paint, I'm afraid it's heat and scraper. Keep a bench grinder handy to maintain a sharp edge and off it comes-the residue I clean up with Niromors as to properly strip a large area is messy, expensive and not very effective.

This is what I've done so far. But by God it's hard work - and there have been one or two scorched bits of gelcoat here and there which will need patching...
