The mud slippage is good news as it shows progress is being made and also that the slipped mud comes within reach of the dredger. Once it is all done it should be fairly easy to keep it clear. It's a thankless expensive task at the moment but will eventually bring the marina back to it's original state. Obviously the cheapest method would have been to clear the marina of boats and pontoons and use diggers and lorries but that would be just about impossible. You have to give management and staff the highest credit for sticking with it.
